Event Driver

The PRIMARY duties of the Event Driver are safely driving the company trucks loaded with inventory, to and from event locations throughout the Bay Area for load-in and load-out calls. And, the safe loading and unloading of the trucks, to ensure our inventory is kept in pristine condition. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all inventory is accounted for after an event. This would require you pick the truck up from our warehouse in either Oakland or Vallejo, drive to the venue, then return to the warehouse. You should be an expert driver with previous experience maneuvering into loading docks, festival venues, loading on streets, and sometimes unpaved terrain. The position will require work at varying times of day from early morning to late at night and are typically 4-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays. You will work with the other Event Staff, who will assist in loading and unloading the truck before, during and after events.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

  • Lifting and moving furniture, road cases, custom fabricated pieces and plants Some assembly of fabricated event materials may be required.

  • Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded safely and  all inventory is properly strapped & secured. 

  • Learn our inventory program and check in and out all items going on the truck.

  • Follow your schedule on When I Work. Clock in and out for shifts and all meal breaks. Any schedules changes on-site, follow up with a text/email to confirm load-out times. CC HR.

  • Use Flex to generate sales and track inventory and produce Shipping Manifests for Client signatures

 

Requirements

  • Must be 25 years old. 

  • Active Driver’s License REQUIRED, CDL a plus.

  • Copy of a clean driving record must be provided before hiring, and maintained while employed.

  • Must have expert driving skills maneuvering 26', 24', 16' box trucks, Cargo Van.

  • Never under the influence of any alcohol or drugs while operating company vehicles.

  • Must have basic computer skills.

  • You should have prior experience in the event industry. 

  • Forklift/ Heavy Equipment certifications are a plus.

  • Be flexible with your schedule & can handle long work days when needed.

  • Able to lift, pull, push 50 pounds plus.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. What we do is very time sensitive.

  • Follow OSHA laws & regulations at all times.

  • Must be able to have reliable transportation to both of our locations, Oakland and Vallejo..

Event Installer & Warehouse Assistant  

 

Event Installers work under the direct supervision of the Crew Chief during load-in, show, and load-out. You are responsible for executing the assigned tasks independently as well as working with the team to complete each project on-time. You should have a love for event production, be an enthusiastic professional, and enjoy building lasting relationships with our clients


Scope of Work & Responsibilities

  • Move equipment, furniture and other items such as Lifting and moving furniture, road cases, custom fabricated pieces, plants. Some assembly required.

  • Setting up Pipe & Drape

  • Truck loading and unloading safely.

  • Clean and wrap all furniture/decor, fold drape, double check all inventory has been collected.

  • Collecting towels after events, following our specific Policy & Procedures.

  • Inspecting inventory during setup/strike for any damages, take photos, report to manager.

  • Inform Crew Chief of any items on the load list that are unused & return to truck.

  • Follow your schedule on When I Work. Clock in and out for shifts and all meal breaks. Any schedules changes on-site, follow up with a text/email to confirm load-out times. CC HR.

  • Assist with warehouse cleaning, organization, stocking, counting etc.

  • Assist with pre-event production prep including fabrication, crafting, and decorating

Requirements

  • Be flexible with your schedule & can handle long workdays as needed. Some Holidays & Weekends.

  • Also be comfortable when work is slow as the hours for the various events we do are dependent upon the event schedule/season.

  •  Able to lift, pull, push 50 pounds plus.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. What we do is very time sensitive.

  • Follow OSHA health & safety guidelines at all times.

  • Carpentry, rigging, or event electrician skills a plus

  • If you can expertly drive a 16ft or 24ft box truck, that’s a super plus. You may be considered for the Drivers position if you meet all the requirements.

Ever Wonder Event Manager

 

The Event Manager will manage all aspects of events in the Ever Wonder facility. You must provide complete customer service to our clients before, during and after each event. You are responsible for managing the event staff to complete each project on-time. You should have a love for event production, be an enthusiastic professional, and enjoy building lasting relationships with our clients.


Scope of Work & Responsibilities

  • Meet with Clients prior to the event to find their needs and develop a floor plan.

  • Be onsite during each event to interact with the client and address any day of needs.

  • Provide an after event report to the CEO.

  • Work with the Warehouse manager and sales team to make sure all drape, furniture, etc. is available and delivered to the venue on time.

  • Work with Event Staff to set up a facility per floor plan.

  • Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of the facility before, during and after events

  • Ensuring all trash and recycling is removed from event space after each event
